James Madison University (JMU) School of Nursing invites applications for a 12-month renewable term appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor of Practice beginning April 1, 2027. The School of Nursing offers CCNE-accredited Baccalaureate, Master’s, and Doctor of Nursing Practice programs. This position will primarily support the Fast Flex BSN, a new initiative designed to operate during evenings and weekends, with a primarily precepted clinical model. Technical Director - School of Theatre and Dance	Harrisonburg
The School of Theatre and Dance is in the College of Visual and Performing Arts and has approximately 300 students and offers a Bachelor of Arts degree with majors in Theatre, Musical Theatre, and Dance. Housed in the award-winning Forbes Center for the Performing Arts, the School has a collegial environment and provides practice-based training within a liberal arts tradition. https://www.jmu.edu/theatredance/index.shtml The James Madison University School of Theatre and Dance (STAD) is searching for a Technical Director. This is a full-time, 12-month, Administrative and Professional Faculty position in the College of and Performing Arts (CVPA), reporting to the Director of the School of Theatre and Dance. This colleague will supervise and participate in the execution of all departmental productions (Theatre, Musical Theatre, and Dance) while overseeing the management and maintenance of the scene shop and its related spaces (e.g., performance venues, storage spaces, etc.) and equipment. Teaching opportunities are available in technical direction and related areas.

The Department of Biology at James Madison University (JMU) invites applications for a 10-month tenure-track Assistant Professor position in cellular and molecular genetics. This is a full-time position with an anticipated start date of August 2027. A Ph.D. in a relevant field is required at the time of appointment, and postdoctoral experience is preferred.
Exam Accommodation Assistant (Part - Time)	Harrisonburg
The Office of Disability Services (ODS) at James Madison University (JMU) is seeking a talented, motivated person to work as a part-time Exam Accommodations Assistant. This is a 9-month position that corresponds with the JMU fall and spring semesters: August through May. This posting is for a part-time wage position with no benefits. This position is limited to a maximum of 1,500 hours per year (May 1 to April 30), with an average of 29 hours per week. The regular shift is six to eight hours per day, Monday – Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. with alternate hours during Final Exam Week (December and May). Due to the access this position has to undergraduate records, current JMU Undergraduate students are not eligible for this position.
