Job Summary/Basic Functions
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as the Capital Outlay Project Manager! This position provides project management for assigned projects including both capital and non-capital projects including planning, design, and construction phases.

Required KSAs/Competencies/Qualifications
- Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of general architecture/engineering disciplines
- Considerable knowledge of construction administration
- Considerable knowledge of state, federal codes laws and regulations applicable to the construction of public buildings
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written skills
- Proficient computer skills such as Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects of varied size and complexity
- Ability to effectively communicate with diverse populations and organizations

Required Experience:
- Considerable practical experience and knowledge of facility design and construction management
- A valid driver’s license
|
Additional Considerations:
- Experience and familiarity with the Commonwealth of Virginia’s Construction and Professional Services Manual
- Experience and familiarity with the Virginia Uniform State Building Code
- Experience and familiarity with the erosion and sediment control and stormwater regulations
- Experience and familiarity with computer-aided design (CAD)
- Experience and familiarity with Primavera or similar scheduling software
