The assistant coach will support all aspects of the women's lacrosse program, including practice planning, game preparation, player development, recruiting, and day-to-day program operations. Responsibilities include fostering the academic, athletic, and personal growth of student-athletes; providing individualized skill instruction; assisting with game strategy and opponent scouting; and promoting a positive, competitive team culture. The assistant coach will collaborate with the head coach, athletic trainers, strength and conditioning staff, administrators, and other campus personnel to support the health, well-being, and success of student-athletes. Additional duties include assisting with team travel, equipment management, scheduling, recruiting operations, administrative responsibilities, and ensuring compliance with NCAA Division III, conference, and university policies while upholding the mission and values of University of Mary Washington Athletics. |
