Department Summary
The Department of Clinical Education within the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine coordinates all clinical education experiences for osteopathic medicine students.

Position Overview
The Senior Administrative Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative, budget, and analytical support to the Assistant Dean and Executive Director of Osteopathic Clinical Education. The selected candidate coordinates administrative functions on behalf of the leadership team while maintaining confidentiality, business acumen and adherence to university policies and procedures. Additionally, this position will support various core administrative support areas within the Office of Osteopathic Clinical Education. HSC is a values-based organization, and because of this, any person in this position must exemplify the university's values.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of related experience; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Advanced written communication skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Knowledge of accounting/budgeting procedures.
- Ability to work under pressure, to adjust to constant changes, to handle multiple tasks, and to coordinate the work of others
- Ability to keep complex records, to assemble and organize data of complex nature, and to prepare and submit reports in acceptable formats
- Ability to conceptualize, plan and organize multiple programs and assignments effectively
- Ability to work on complex and confidential tasks utilizing judgment, tact, and resourcefulness
- Skill in developing and maintaining good working relationships.

Job Duties:
- Responsible for financial operations of the department including: the planning, tracking and reconciliation of financial transactions, helping create an annual M&O budget, purchasing, salary administration.
- Process all hiring for the office.
- Process travel requests and submit travel reimbursements for office employees and associated internal and external partners
- Serve as the office timekeeper
- Serve as an office contract liaison
- Facilitate office meetings by scheduling, creating agendas, ordering catering and recording minutes.
- Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies, housekeeping, maintaining records and managing database systems.
- Prepare reports, memos, letters, meeting presentations.
