Department Summary
The Financial Aid & Scholarships (FAS) Office is dedicated to assisting students in achieving their educational goals by providing impactful financial aid support. The FAS Office is responsible for processing financial aid applications, administering various financial aid programs, and offering comprehensive financial aid counseling to students and their families.

Position Overview
This position serves as the office manager for Financial Aid & Scholarships (FAS). Responsibilities include managing departmental contracts, requisitions, purchase orders, account reconciliations, inventory, supply orders, employee travel, timesheets, job postings, new employee onboarding, and the organization of common areas.
The role also serves as the office liaison to Human Resources and participates in budget office meetings. Additional duties include providing administrative support, overseeing the intake and processing of external scholarships, and assisting with the management of donor-funded scholarships. The position supervises 1–2 employees responsible for administrative support tasks.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and five years' of highly responsible and varied office administration or business management experience; or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.

- Prior supervisory experience

Job Duties:
- Responsible for oversight of departmental maintenance and operation budgetary activities to include managing office purchasing through requisitions, purchase card transactions, renewal of memberships, and the completion of purchase orders.
- Manage the intake and processing of external scholarships and assist with management of donor funded scholarships.
- Supervise 1-2 employees responsible for processing external scholarship checks, scholarship reconciliation, and administrative support.
- Serve as asset coordinator for the department and maintain equipment inventory, annual inventory report, and manage the ordering of office supplies and equipment.
- Serve as the human resource liaison for the department, to include responsibility for completing all personnel/payroll processes.
- Serve as the departments travel coordinator, to include staff travel arrangement, preparing, and processing travel documentation.
- Provide administrative support for Financial Aid & Scholarships (FAS) office and serve as administrative point-of-contact for the leadership team.

Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm, with occasional nights/weekends.
