Department Summary

The University of North Texas Health Science Center System College of Pharmacy is inviting applications for an Adjunct Instructor in the Department of Pharmacotherapy.
Located at UNTHSC campus in Fort Worth, the UNT System College of Pharmacy joined colleges/schools of Osteopathic Medicine, Public Health, Health Professions and the Graduate School of Biochemical Sciences in 2013. The UNT System College of Pharmacy graduated its first class and received accreditation from Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) IN 2017. PILL Program: Partner in Learning and Leading.

Position Overview

This position offers a unique opportunity for practicing pharmacists in the DFW metroplex to contribute meaningfully to the development of future pharmacy professionals. Through mentoring and academic engagement, mentors support pharmacy students (P1–P3) in the areas of career preparation and skill development. This role is part of an expanding initiative, originally piloted in the 2021–2022 academic year, which includes students in all three professional years (P1–P3).

Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm; on campus with flexible work arrangement available and the possibility of occasional remote work.
