There are 6 functional units within Enrollment Management: Processing, Recruitment, Technology, Events, Financial Aid, and Registrar’s Office.

Position Overview
The Department of Admissions and Recruitment is seeking to hire Seasonal Admissions Application Readers to join their team for graduate admission, utilizing established criteria and professional judgment. Readers must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality. The seasonal position is from June 1, 2025 to March 1, 2026. Readers need to be available a minimum of 15 hours per week. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Ability to read PDF files and utilize EIS/Peoplesoft/WebAdmit
- Ability to work remotely and independently
- Ability to provide own computer for reading

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Understand the process of admissions and recruitment, which involves critically evaluating applications, following instructions, and paying attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications
- Skill in effective written and verbal communications.
- Ability to exercise keen judgement and discretion.
- Ability to maintain essential records, paperwork and application files in a confidential, thorough manner.
- Ability to quickly adapt to new technology and internalize feedback.
- Ability to read quickly, carefully and objectively while providing thorough notes.
- Ability to meet admission decision deadlines. Experience in graduate application reading.

Job Duties:
- Review graduate school applications for the University of North Texas Health Science Center and submit a set number of applications utilizing established criteria and professional judgment.
- Be able to navigate and work in different software/platforms such as PeopleSoft, WebAdMIT, and Microsoft Suite.

Physical Requirements:
- Communicating with others to exchange information.
- Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing.

Environmental Hazards:
- No adverse environmental conditions expected.

Work Schedule:
This is a fully remote job. We do not have a set work schedule but readers must work a minimum of 15 hours per week. Read application files are due Monday at 8 AM.
