Position Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Esports Assistant Coach to join our competitive esports team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for gaming and a strong understanding of game mechanics, strategy, and team dynamics. As an Assistant Coach, you will work closely with the Assistant Director of Esports to develop training programs, analyze gameplay, and support player development, all while fostering a positive and inclusive team environment.

Minimum Qualifications
- Working toward a Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience with social media, database management and web content management systems.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Must be detailed oriented, organized, and focused.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively with young people, preparing them for success in life as well as athletically.

Job Duties
- Plan and organize all practices and matches for the esports team working closely with game coaches.
- Maintain and monitor the esports Arena and all equipment.
- Maintain and update team social media properties sharing information with our students, faculty and fans about the team, players and competitions.
- Stream all collegiate matches – organize and run streaming events for players and students to attend and interact with.
- Finding and scheduling scrimmages and/or exhibition matches with other collegiate esports teams.
- Registering teams for competitive seasons on all platforms.
- Manage player skill development plans and instill the philosophical perspective necessary for personal and team growth.
- Record and archive matches to enable VOD reviews for feedback and strategy development.
- Study each game and understand relevant knowledge on the meta and relevant update patches.
- Help resolve player conflict and motivate all players to improve.
