Department Summary
The Division of Enrollment Management & Student Affairs at the University of North Texas at Dallas provides comprehensive services that support students from recruitment through graduation. The division oversees key functions including Undergraduate Admissions, Financial Aid & Scholarships, Orientation & Transition Programs, Student Engagement, Counseling & Wellness, Disability Services, and other essential support units.

Position Overview
The Enrollment Management Communications Coordinator will serve as a key member of the Enrollment Management and Student Affairs team, responsible for the strategic execution of prospective student engagement initiatives across digital platforms. This position will leverage the CRM (TargetX) and other digital tools to deliver timely, data-driven communications, manage admissions-related digital content, and support recruitment-focused outreach strategies. The role requires a combination of technical proficiency, project management, and a strong understanding of student recruitment lifecycle engagement.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in related field and two years of experience in communications, marketing, advertising, or public relations; or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of University operating procedures, organization and policies (or ability to rapidly assimilate and retain)
- Knowledge of business principles, practices, and techniques
- Knowledge of electronic information systems and accounting systems
- Ability to establish and maintain professional working relationships with a variety of internal and external contacts
- Ability to conceptualize, plan, and organize multiple programs and assignments effectively
- Ability to keep complex records; to assemble and organize data of complex nature; and to prepare and submit reports in professional formats
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Ability to act with considerable initiative
- Knowledge of web site usability concepts, such as navigational aids, knowledge management, information rendering, etc.
- Knowledge of Internet/Intranet technologies and associated products, tools and equipment

- Ability to write, edit, proofread, interview, research and report information
- Ability to assimilate, retain and utilize technical and applications-oriented information

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in higher education recruitment, admissions operations, or student engagement initiatives. • Knowledge of digital marketing best practices, including email automation, SMS outreach, social media strategy, and web analytics. • Familiarity with HTML, content management systems, and web accessibility standards. • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams while taking independent ownership of projects.

Job Duties
- CRM & Prospective Student Engagement.
- Develop, manage, and optimize automated and targeted outreach campaigns through the CRM (emails, SMS, and mailers).
- Maintain accurate CRM data, segmentations, and reporting dashboards to support strategic decision-making and performance analysis.
- Collaborate with CRM Administrators and Recruitment staff to design effective communication workflows aligned with enrollment goals.
- Digital Contact & Web Management.
- Manage admissions-related website content to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and a seamless prospective student experience.
- Develop and schedule content for recruitment-focused social media platforms, monitoring performance and engagement.
- Create digital assets (infographics, guides, videos, etc.) to support outreach initiatives and enhance prospective student engagement.
- Project Coordination & Collaboration.
- Coordinate cross-departmentally to ensure campaigns and digital initiatives align with recruitment and enrollment priorities.
- Track, analyze, and report on outreach effectiveness, providing actionable insights to improve engagement and outcomes.
- Maintain documentation and provide training related to CRM tools and digital outreach processes.
