Position Overview
The Program Project Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the success of graduate students in the G. Brint Ryan College of Business. This position is responsible for supporting recruitment, admissions, and retention initiatives across all master’s programs. The program project coordinator will work closely with the Director and Assistant Director of Recruitment & Corporate Outreach to execute strategies that enhance the student experience, improve engagement, and drive retention from admission to enrollment. This role involves event coordination, budget support, data-informed decision-making, and collaboration with faculty, staff, and students to ensure a seamless and positive experience for prospective and current graduate students.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in related field and three years of related experience or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

* Strong presentation and public speaking skills * Strong problem-solving skills * Ability to use a variety of complex computer applications * Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations verbally and in writing * Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships * Ability to work independently and lead project teams effectively * Considerable knowledge of University policies and procedures related to functional area (or ability to rapidly assimilate)

Preferred Qualifications
• Master’s degree in business, higher education administration, or a related field. • Experience in student affairs, academic advising, recruitment, admissions, or related areas, preferably with graduate students. • Strong understanding of graduate student success, retention, and engagement strategies. • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Job Duties
- Coordinate recruitment and admissions activities for all master’s programs within the G. Brint Ryan College of Business, including event planning, assisting with tabling events, and attending virtual and in-person events to promote programs.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the master’s admissions process to effectively assist applicants and prospective students. Ensure familiarity with processing admission documents to expedite application review and decision-making.
- Provide support to the Director and Assistant Director of Recruitment on assigned tasks, duties, and special projects.
- Assist with purchasing processes, manage university purchasing cards, and support budget tracking and reconciliation.
- Implement proactive retention strategies for newly admitted students to ensure successful matriculation and engagement.
- Develop and execute initiatives that foster student engagement and enhance the overall experience of master’s students.
