Department Summary
The G. Brint Ryan College of Business is the choice of nearly 9,000 students, making it one of the largest business schools in the nation. Since 1961, the college has been continuously accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), a hallmark of the world’s best business schools. Nationally recognized, cutting-edge degrees enable students to learn beyond the classroom, preparing them to become leaders in their fields.

Position Overview
To assist instructors with the preparation and distribution of class materials. This position performs varied and moderately complex clerical work in support of classrooms in the college with a flexible work schedule.

Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma and three years of moderately responsible and varied office administration or business management experience; or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
|
|
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Advanced customer service skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office. Maintaining office equipment by troubleshooting and visualizing potential issues. Ability to work under pressure, to adjust to constant changes, to handle multiple tasks, and to coordinate the work of others. Ability to prepare and submit reports in acceptable formats. Ability to conceptualize, plan, and organize multiple tasks and assignments effectively. Ability to work on complex and confidential tasks utilizing judgment, tact, and resourcefulness. Skill in developing and maintaining good working relationships. Knowledge of policies, practices, procedures, and terminology of assigned function. Timeliness is a must for this position as the center must be available during posted hours.

Job Duties
- Maintains accurate records and keeps materials in a secured environment.
- Keeps work requests secured and completed in a timely manner without errors.
- Requests for supplies made in a timely manner so inventory is well-stocked.
- Communicates work order status of any repairs or service calls on equipment.
- Maintains safety standards for the work area set by the University.
- Replaces paper, toner, and other supplies as needed and in a timely manner.
- Stays up to date on all policies and procedures.
- Additional duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements
- Communicating with others to exchange information.
- Lifting and Moving objects up to 20 pounds.
- Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing.
- Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.
- Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
