Department Summary
The Department of Population & Community Health in the College of Public Health at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth is seeking a Project Coordinator (1.0 FTE) for a research study.

Position Overview
The Project Coordinator will be involved in everyday operations of a federally funded research study testing the effectiveness of a smartphone app for reducing heavy drinking among people experiencing homelessness. Specifically, the Project Coordinator will work closely with Dr. Walters and the rest of the study team to ensure successful participant recruitment and retention, testing and providing feedback on study materials including surveys and phone responses, monitoring study progress and data management and analysis, and related duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and two (2) years related experience; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to enthusiastically engage with potential research participants.
- Ability to identify and recruit research participants.
- Ability to retain research participants.
- Ability to monitor study progress and data management.
- Ability to organize.
- Self-motivation and a high level of responsibility to complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Great attention to detail.
- Flexibility in adjusting to new work-related requirements as they arise.
- Ability to work as part of a large, multi-site team.

Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Psychology, Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or related field.
- Research management software experience, such as Endnote, Microsoft365, QDS, or REDCap.
- Communication software experience, such as Teams, Zoom, and social media.

Job Duties
- Recruit research participants for the study.
- Retain research participants of the study.
- Preparing reports and monitoring progress for the study.
- Developing summary reports and presentations for the study.

Work Schedule
Monday - Friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm, occasional after hours and weekends.
