Position Overview
The Associate Director of Project and Change Management provides leadership and expertise for managing complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives within the Division of Strategic Educational Alliances. This position serves as the division's dedicated leader responsible for project management excellence and change management strategy, ensuring initiatives achieve maximum impact through effective planning, stakeholder engagement, and sustainable adoption. This role develops and implements project management frameworks and change management methodologies that guide initiatives from conception through successful integration. This position exists to transform divisional goals into measurable outcomes by ensuring rigorous project execution and proactive change facilitation. As UNT builds its reputation in Executive and Professional Education and expands strategic educational alliances, this role provides the essential infrastructure for managing growth, mitigating implementation risks, and fostering stakeholder adoption.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in related field and five years of closely related professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in a related field; significant experience working within complex, decentralized higher education environments; experience leading organizational change and cross-functional projects; and PMP, Prosci, CCMP, or comparable certification.

Job Duties
- Leads project management for large-scale, multi-stakeholder initiatives in Executive and Professional Education, including platform development, program launches, and partnership ventures, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder alignment
- Develops and implements change management frameworks and strategies to drive stakeholder engagement, adoption, and sustainable integration of new programs, processes, and technologies across the division
- Supervises project and change management team, including hiring, performance management, and professional development to build organizational capacity for managing complex initiatives
- Interfaces with senior leadership to coordinate project priorities, communicate progress, identify risks, and ensure alignment with divisional and institutional strategic goals
- Monitors project outcomes and change adoption metrics, providing data-driven insights and recommendations for continuous improvement and future initiative planning
