Adjunct faculty undertakes the divisional and professional responsibilities of a part-time faculty member, including office hours on campus. The successful applicant will be expected to provide quality instruction in graduate Public Leadership and Administration courses matching the instructor’s background, education, and skills base. The successful applicant will be expected to provide instruction in a full range of graduate level face-to-face, hybrid and online courses focused on pubic administration, including, but not limited to, Data Analytics and Research Methods, Public Service & Society, Performance Measurement & Monitoring, Intergovernmental Relations, Healthcare Administration, Public Health Leadership, Leading and Managing Pubic Organizations, and Public Private Partnerships. Adjunct faculty members may be required to use certain texts and meet certain parameters set by the Public Leadership program and will be required to be on campus for face-to-face and hybrid courses, as well as office hours. Adjunct instructors will also be required to include in their courses certain student assessment measures determined by the department, and to compile data on those assessment criteria.

The successful candidate will provide instruction for lower-division mathematics courses, which may include: • Developmental Mathematics • College Algebra • Business Algebra • Business Calculus • Elementary Statistics • Contemporary Mathematics • Mathematics for Teachers Most courses are offered in the afternoons and evenings on the UNT Dallas campus. Adjunct faculty may be required to use specific textbooks and adhere to instructional parameters set by the Department of Mathematics. Instructors will also be expected to incorporate departmental assessment measures into their courses and to compile and report relevant data.

Worth area. The successful candidate will be expected to help develop the Communication and Digital Media major as a premier, highly visible program at UNT Dallas. We are particularly interested in student-centric, innovative, and energetic candidates who can help lead the development of UNTD’s Communication and Digital Media Department through program development, student recruitment, and community outreach. We seek an experienced academic leader who can contribute to the Communication and Digital Media program by teaching a range of courses in mass communication, as well as other communication areas.
