The Director of Award Management provides operational leadership for the University's post-award research administration function, ensuring compliant and efficient administration of sponsored awards from award acceptance through closeout. This position oversees the daily operations of the Post-Award team while partnering closely with the Assistant Vice President of Sponsored Programs to implement strategic initiatives, improve business processes, and promote operational excellence across the Office of Sponsored Programs. The Director serves as a subject matter expert in federal, state, institutional, and sponsor regulations governing sponsored programs and provides leadership in financial stewardship, compliance, risk management, and customer service. The position collaborates extensively with principal investigators, departmental administrators, Research Financial Services, Research Compliance, and institutional leadership to support the University's research mission.

This position is part of the Division of Student Affairs at UNT Health Fort Worth and the Office of Disability Access (ODA). This position supports UNT Health students and academic departments with a wide variety of student assessment (examination/testing) activities for students registered with the ODA and receiving disability-related accommodations. This position fosters student success by ensuring that student knowledge is effectively measured, approved accommodations are provided, and academic curricular goals are achieved.
Senior HVAC Technician Denton
* This position is responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on all equipment associated with the production and distribution of chilled water to buildings on the UNT Denton campus. * This position also performs all other duties assigned, including decorative fountain repairs, building automation troubleshooting, and troubleshooting and/or repair of chilled water end-use devices (AHUs). * This position is also responsible for maintenance on DX units, walk-in coolers, and any related control devices. * The goal of this position is to provide livable/workable interior space for students, faculty, staff, and research. * Troubleshoots, maintains, repairs, and upgrades all equipment associated with HVAC for building on the UNT Denton Campuses. * Systems include but are not limited to chillers, pumps, cooling towers, DX systems, and a campus-wide chilled water distribution loop. * Inspects HVAC systems and their components (heating units, building exhaust fans, ventilation units, etc.) to evaluate, condition, and identify necessary repairs and recommend preventive maintenance. * Prepares written materials (repair status, activity logs, etc.) to document activities and/or convey information. * Recovers and recycles the refrigerants used in air conditioning and refrigeration systems as per EPA regulations. * Installs, maintains, repairs, and rectifies problems through the many mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems including electrical motors, compressors, pumps, fans, ducts, pipes, thermostats, and switches which comprise heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems as per EPA regulations. * Keeps records of all refrigerants purchased and used as per EPA regulations. * Other duties as assigned. ** This position is considered to be essential personnel, and may require working overtime, which could include nights and weekends as needed.
