The Department of Biological Sciences is seeking a Student & Program Coordinator to join our team. This position plays a vital role in supporting student learning and success by coordinating the activities of the Life Science Resource Center (LSRC). The coordinator will work closely with the Advising Office to meet the needs of both BA- and BS-seeking undergraduate students. Responsibilities include assisting students with course registration, addressing questions related to financial aid applications, tracking academic progression, and facilitating the graduation filing process.
Clinical Teaching Assistant Fort Worth
The Clinical Teaching Assistant (CTA) will assist the nursing program faculty in supervising and supporting students during clinical learning experiences. CTAs will work under the guidance of a master’s or doctorally-prepared nursing faculty member to ensure excellence in student skills performance, evaluation, and overall clinical learning outcomes. The Clinical Teaching Assistant will report to the nursing faculty and collaborate with the Course leader or the Track Coordinator. A faculty member must be present at the same facility and available for consultation as needed.
Open Rank Faculty Position in Biostatistics Fort Worth
The College of Public Health (CPH) at The University of North Texas Health Science Center (UNTHSC) seeks applications to fill a full-time open rank faculty position in the Department of Population & Community Health. This is a 12-month, tenure-track appointment with a primary focus on developing and collaborating for externally funded research and covering graduate education in biostatistics and related fields. The candidate should have earned a doctoral degree in biostatistics, statistics, or a related quantitative discipline. The successful candidate should demonstrate a record of independent and/or collaborative research programs or have an emerging record of developing such programs. The candidate will teach graduate-level biostatistics courses annually. The faculty member will also contribute to course development and curriculum planning, advise and mentor graduate students, provide service to the department and university, and engage in scholarly activities focusing on the scholarship of teaching and learning. Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate effectiveness in developing and collaborating with research teams to obtain external research funding and a commitment to developing and practicing effective, evidence-based teaching strategies tailored to public health-related applications.
