The Associate Director Career Services is responsible for preparing students for internships within the community and engaging with area employers to stay up to date on the needs of their workforce. This person coaches individual students through process, facilitates group-level workshops such as mock-interviews, networking opportunities, and creation of personal brand artifacts as well as serves as instructor of internship courses for multi-disciplinary programs at the UNT at Frisco campus. This position also supervises two Career and Employer Development Specialists who serve all majors at the Frisco campus. |

Adjunct faculty plans classes and implements and evaluates teaching/learning objectives and student learning outcomes in conjunction with the Program Coordinator. Adjunct faculty undertakes the divisional and professional responsibilities of a part-time faculty member, including office hours. The successful applicant will be expected to provide instruction for lower-division Political Science courses, including American Government I (National), American Government II (state), Introduction to Political Science, Introduction to Public Policy, and various other political science courses. Most courses are offered in the afternoons and evenings.
Adjunct faculty members may be required to use certain texts and meet certain parameters set by the Department of History and Political Science. Adjunct instructors will also be required to include, in their courses, certain student assessment measures determined by the department, and to compile data on those assessment criteria. |
