Educational Program, Assistant Director Fort Worth
The Educational Program Assistant Director will implement and maintain programs, courses, training, and activities for student, faculty, and other trainees. This function focuses on the planning, development, facilitation, implementation, evaluation and administration of a wide variety of educational programs and initiatives to increase and enhance continues educational learning. Also, entails developing and implementing organizational and employee development strategies and interventions which may include developing courses, developing broad range programs to meet the needs of a diverse population, managing training and organizational development programs, contracting services and developing budgets. This individual will collaborate with program leads and faculty to ensure that the course aligns with institutional learning objectives, accreditation standards, and best practices in medical education.

Transports recyclable materials to drop off point on a scheduled basis. Reports building conditions and situations requiring the attention of Facility Technicians to Work Control. The Center for Anatomical Sciences in the Department of Physiology and Anatomy at the University of North Texas Health Science Center (UNT Health) in Fort Worth, TX invites applications for two (2) tenure-track or tenured faculty positions to join our growing team of interdisciplinary faculty in the anatomical sciences. We seek two outstanding, broadly-trained anatomists whose research programs will complement our existing strengths in biological anthropology, evolutionary biology, forensic sciences, biomechanics/functional morphology, and histology. While the research area is open, applicants with programs in postcranial biomechanics are particularly encouraged to apply. Research laboratory space and competitive start-up funds are available. The Center encompasses 8,000-square-feet of anatomy laboratories that support anatomical education, research, and outreach. The Center also houses dedicated research laboratories equipped for medical imaging analysis/morphometrics, forensic anthropology, thermoregulatory studies (environmental chamber), histology, and paleontological fossil preparation. The new hires will contribute to lecture and cadaver-based laboratory instruction (both dissection and prosection) of human gross anatomy courses for osteopathic medical, physical therapy, physician assistant, and graduate students. Teaching experience in neuroanatomy, histology, and/or embryology is desirable but not required. Faculty may additionally develop graduate-level elective courses in their area of expertise. The hires will also be expected to mentor anatomy graduate students (MS, PhD). The anticipated start date is August 1, 2026 (or earlier).
