Adjunct Instructor (In-Person) for English Dallas
The University of North Texas at Dallas invites applications for the position of Adjunct Instructor for English for the Fall 2025 and/or Spring 2026 semesters. UNT Dallas is a dynamically growing institution, and the number of available adjunct positions is dependent on student enrollment, division needs, and approval of the dean. Adjunct faculty plan classes and implement and evaluate teaching/learning objectives and student learning outcomes. Adjunct faculty undertake the divisional and professional responsibilities of a part-time faculty member, including office hours. The successful applicant will be expected to provide instruction in entry-level English courses, including Developmental Writing, College Writing I and II, Technical Writing, and World Literature. Adjunct faculty members may be required to use certain texts and meet certain parameters set by the Department of Languages, Linguistics, and Rhetoric (LLR). Adjunct instructors will also be required to include, in their courses, certain student assessment measures determined by the department. Adjunct Instructor : Foundations Denton
The Foundations Program in the College of Visual Arts and Design seeks an adjunct colleague with expertise in a Design, Visual Art, or related discipline/s, and who understands various approaches in teaching in the Foundations curriculum. The Foundations Program, at the College of Visual Arts and Design at the University of North Texas, has a lecture/lab format of course delivery (i.e., classroom learning in a once week lecture as one cohort and with hands-on work in separate studios). The adjunct faculty will work closely with the Foundations Director and faculty to facilitate the success of student learning to achieve a cohesive curriculum goal for all students.
Adjunct Instructor : Art History Denton
The Department of Art History seeks qualified individuals for its Adjunct Instructor pool and welcomes applicants at any time. The specific courses involved may vary from semester to semester and openings to teach these courses develop on a periodic basis, depending on department teaching needs. The anticipated need is for Adjunct Instructors whose duties may include but are not limited to teaching online art appreciation and our online art history surveys.
Lecturer (Continuing) Denton
The faculty member will be expected to teach our core undergraduate American politics courses (2305 and 2306 classes). The faculty member will also contribute to advising students in our legal studies minor and certificate programs and is expected to contribute to the law-related upper division courses, including American Legal Systems, and the three course sequence in Constitutional Law.
