Adjunct Instructor - Finance, Insurance, Real Estate, and Law Denton
The Department of Finance, Insurance, Real Estate, and Law seeks qualified individuals for its Adjunct Instructor Pool and welcomes applicants at this time. This posting is for the Fall 2025, Spring 2026, and Summer 2026 semesters. The specific courses involved may vary from semester to semester, and openings to teach these courses develop on a periodic basis, depending on the department's teaching needs.
History Adjunct Instructor Dallas
The number of vacancies is dependent on student enrollment, division needs, and dean approval. Your application cannot be considered until all required documents have been received. Adjunct instructors plan classes and implement and evaluate teaching/learning objectives and student learning outcomes. An adjunct instructor undertakes the divisional and professional responsibilities of a part-time faculty member, including office hours. The successful applicant will be expected to provide instruction in a full range of undergraduate History courses within UNT Dallas’s History major, including core-curriculum U.S. History (2610-U.S. History to 1865, and 2620-U.S. History since 1865), Texas History (4700), and World Civilization courses (1050-World Civilization I, 1060-World Civilization II), and there may be an opportunity to teach upper-level courses.
Criminal Justice Adjunct Instructor Pool AY 2025-2026 Dallas
The number of vacancies is dependent upon student enrollment, division needs, and Dean’s approval. Your application cannot be considered until all required documents have been received. The successful candidate will be expected to develop curriculum and provide instruction in a range of classes in Criminal Justice and Justice and Social Policy. Other duties may include coordination with the department Program Coordinator, and other faculty as needed. Adjunct faculty plan courses and implement and evaluate teaching/learning objectives and student learning outcomes. Adjunct faculty undertake the divisional and professional responsibilities of a part-time faculty member, including office hours.
Faculty Adjunct Assistant-Fall 2025 Downtown Dallas
The appointment will be as Faculty Assistant/Adjunct Faculty to assist in teaching Client Interviewing and Counseling and/or Negotiation and Conflict Management by leading small groups of students through interviewing or negotiation simulations. Classes will be delivered in person at the UNT Dallas College of Law downtown location. Client Interviewing and Counseling sessions will meet on Wednesday evening from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm on starting the second week of September and concluding end of November for approximately 10-11 session. Negotiation and Conflict Management will meet on Thursday afternoons from 2:30 pm-4:30 pm starting second week of September and concluding at the end of November approximately 10-11 sessions. Faculty Adjunct Assistants will work in pairs to lead/coach small groups of students through either interviewing simulations or negotiation simulations that are created and/or provided by the Assistant Professor of the Course. Faculty Adjunct Assistants do not create/design any aspect of the course but are responsible for grading the simulations and coaching the students. Multiple positions may be available for both time frames, although there are considerably more slots for the Client Interviewing and Counseling course. While preferences for courses will be considered, depending on student enrollment and the number of returning Faculty Adjunct Assistants, the number of available positions may be limited. Because these classes contribute to student engagement/networking in the North Texas legal community all applicants must live in and practice law in the North Texas area. Faculty Adjunct Assistants may be retired from the practice of law as long as if they still live in the North Texas area. Further, all Faculty Adjunct Assistants are required to complete all training required of employees of UNT Dallas College of Law.
Public Leadership & Administration Adjunct Instructor Pool 2025-2026 Dallas
The number of vacancies is dependent on student enrollment, division needs, and dean approval. Your application cannot be considered complete until all required documents have been received. Adjunct faculty plans classes and implements and evaluates teaching/learning objectives and student learning outcomes. Adjunct faculty undertakes the divisional and professional responsibilities of a part-time faculty member, including office hours on campus. The successful applicant will be expected to provide quality instruction in graduate Public Leadership and Administration courses matching the instructor’s background, education, and skills base. The successful applicant will be expected to provide instruction in a full range of graduate level face-to-face, hybrid and online courses focused on pubic administration, including, but not limited to, Data Analytics and Research Methods, Public Service & Society, Performance Measurement & Monitoring, Intergovernmental Relations, Healthcare Administration, Public Health Leadership, Leading and Managing Pubic Organizations, and Public Private Partnerships. Adjunct faculty members may be required to use certain texts and meet certain parameters set by the Public Leadership program and will be required to be on campus for face-to-face and hybrid courses, as well as office hours. Adjunct instructors will also be required to include in their courses certain student assessment measures determined by the department, and to compile data on those assessment criteria.
