Adjunct Instructor - Social Work

| The Department of Social Work seeks qualified individuals for its Adjunct Instructor pool and welcomes applicants at any time. This posting is for the Fall 2025, Spring 2026 and Summer 2026 semesters. The specific courses available vary from semester to semester and openings to teach these courses may develop on a periodic basis, depending on department teaching needs. The anticipated need is for adjunct instructors to teach courses across the curriculum in both the BSW and MSW programs. Examples of courses include Social Welfare Policy, Human Behavior, and Field Seminar. Both of our programs are primarily face to face with most classes meeting during the day on the UNT Denton campus. There is limited opportunity for online teaching. |

| This position is responsible for the cleaning and sanitation work of the University, or on special projects. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to: Sweeps, mops, scrubs, strips, waxes, and buffs floors, hallways, and stairways and cleans and vacuums, carpets and rugs. Cleans and dusts furniture, walls, ceilings, windows, windowsills, woodwork, and other building surfaces. Cleans and sanitizes rest rooms, baths, commodes, urinals, lavatories, drinking fountains, and other fixtures. Picks up and removes trash and other waste from building and cleans waste receptacles and transports recyclable materials to drop off point on a scheduled basis. Unlocks building doors as required for building functions and programs. Moves furniture for cleaning purposes. Observes safety and security precautions appropriate to work performed. |
