This position is responsible for providing direction, decision making, scheduling and supervising a medium size group of custodians and their workload. Custodial Supervisors are responsible for the supervision of cleaning and sanitation work in an assigned group of buildings or on special projects. They evaluate worker’s performance and recommend training as needed. The work performance is reviewed and evaluated through the inspection of assigned areas. Supervisors may be required to work on a relief assignment or a special cleaning crews/projects and perform cleaning duties. Specified duties may vary according to the type of facility to be cleaned. Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to: Manage, train, and develop all Senior Custodians. Oversee daily sign in and nightly shift assignments.
