Regent University’s College of Arts & Sciences is seeking a full-time, tenure-track faculty position within the Engineering & Computer Science Department. This position will be located at Regent University's Virginia Beach, VA campus.

Qualifications: An earned PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering with a focus in computer hardware, cybersecurity, machine learning, or artificial intelligence. Candidates will be expected to teach courses at all levels both on campus and online while mentoring students outside of the classroom in a variety of ways. This position will also perform ground-breaking, relevant research. In addition, the department is seeking a candidate who has demonstrated skills in leadership, research achievement, teaching excellence, professional engagement, and English communication. They must be able to work independently and accomplish tasks based on knowledge, experience, and expertise within established principles. The candidate must also possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. They should demonstrate willingness to carry out highly detailed work to completion.
Expectations include 1) a dedication to Christ-centered teaching and learning; 2) a record of or potential for academic scholarship; 3) the ability to teach undergraduate-level courses; 4) familiarity with online instructional technology; 5) a proactive approach and desire to contribute to student growth and development both in and out of the classroom; and 6) a willingness to embrace the College and University Identity and Mission statements and subscribe to a statement of Christian faith.
