Regent University’s College of Arts & Sciences is seeking to fill a full-time, tenure-track faculty position in the History Program of the Humanities Department. This position will be located at Regent University’s Virginia Beach, Virginia, campus.

Qualifications: An earned PhD in History or Classics from a regionally accredited institution. The candidate should also have a primary focus on either ancient or medieval European history. The candidate should be able to teach undergraduate and graduate history courses and interdisciplinary courses in our General Education curriculum and in our Honors College. The ideal candidate will also have a demonstrated proficiency in Latin. Candidates will be expected to teach on-campus.

Expectations include 1) a dedication to Christ-centered teaching and learning; 2) a record of or potential for academic scholarship; 3) the ability to teach undergraduate-level courses; 4) facility with online instructional technology; and 5) a willingness to embrace the College and University Identity and Mission statements and subscribe to a statement of Christian faith.
