Responsibilities:
- Daily Office Operations: Support opening and closing duties, monitor office communication channels, and assist with front desk coverage, client check-ins, and appointment coordination.
- Administrative & Clinical Support: Manage client scheduling and documentation; assist with client onboarding.
- Outreach & Engagement: Manage and create content for the department’s social media presence; attend campus outreach meetings and help promote mental health services.
- Facilities & Inventory Management: Maintain cleanliness, functionality of hospitality areas, and monitor office supplies.
Requirements:
- Enrollment: Must be a currently enrolled graduate student in a relevant field (e.g., Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Higher Ed).
- Professional Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to respond to sensitive client inquiries professionally and confidentially.
- Organizational Skills: Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain detailed records.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience or ability to learn electronic health record systems (e.g., TherapyNotes, Medicat, MedForward) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a client-focused environment; experience in student services or counseling setting preferred.
