The Assistant Director of Outreach & Partnership plays a pivotal role in expanding Regent University’s reach and enrollment through strategic engagement with Corporate Partners and recruitment initiatives. This position involves developing and managing relationships with human resource departments, organizational leaders, and potential students from Corporate Partner organizations, utilizing both virtual and on-site recruitment strategies to drive applications and enrollment across Regent University’s Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral degree programs.

Work Location: Virginia Beach, VA 

Essential duties:

Corporate Partnership Relationship Management

  • Maintain and nurture a caseload of Corporate Partners, serving as the primary contact for Regent University's recruitment initiatives.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with key members of organizations locally, regionally, and nationally.
  • Develop and execute strategic outreach and engagement plans to foster Corporate Partnerships and increase student recruitment.
  • Identify potential Corporate Partner organizations and navigate them through the process of becoming a Corporate Partner with Regent University.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Outreach & Partnerships and other stakeholders to enhance outreach strategies and productivity.

Recruitment and Enrollment

  • Initiate and attend virtual and in-person recruitment events for Corporate Partnerships and other university recruitment efforts.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and information about university programs, admissions processes, and financial aid.

Travel and Event Management

  • Travel regularly for recruitment events, conferences, and meetings, including evenings and weekends as required.
  • Coordinate and manage travel logistics, including booking hotels and transportation, and handling expenses.

Administrative Duties

  • Manage agreements and partner data, including drafting agreements, tracking renewals, maintaining compliance, and ensuring accuracy of contact information, engagement records, and partnership status in institutional databases.
  • Update and manage partner webpages, updating organizations and pages with fresh statistics, student stories, and relevant content.
  • Research and evaluate new organizations and events aligned with Regent University's mission and degree programs.
  • Complete weekly and monthly reports, monthly credit card reconciliations, and other administrative duties within the role.

Performance and Reporting

  • Meet and exceed performance metrics, including daily, weekly, and seasonal key performance indicators.
  • Maintain detailed records of interactions, prospects, and outcomes to ensure effective follow-up reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 3 - 5 years experience in higher education, sales, or related field
  • Experience in recruitment or donor relations is a plus

Candidates must have:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong public speaking and presentation abilities
  • Coachable spirit and willingness to engage with a team and serve in a variety of recruitment initiatives
  • Ability to work independently in a production-driven environment
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • High degree of creativity, initiative, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for building relationships and closing deals
  • Knowledgeable and enthusiastic about higher education
  • Familiarity with contract negotiation, business development, and project management is a plus
