About the role

The role of the TAFE teacher as a professional educator is to help, construct, guide and enhance the educative process. The teacher delivers educational programs and facilitates learning, enabling students to achieve their desired outcomes. We’re seeking world-class educators to inspire the next generation of Painting and Decorating students!  

Share your skills and passion for your industry, build the skills, qualifications, and employability, and support the career goals of our students. 

This role will require regular travel interstate. 

About You 

To be successful in the role you will:

  • Possess a Certificate III in Painting & Decorating or equivalent qualification 
  • Have a minimum of five years post-qualification experience in industry relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously.
  • Hold TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent.
  • Be prepared to continue to develop their Vocational Education and Training (VET) knowledge and skills as well as their industry currency and trainer/assessor competence.
