About the role

We’re seeking a motivated leader to be the next Head Teacher of Plumbing! You will lead our experienced TAFE Teachers and inspire the next generation of Plumbing students.

Share your skills and passion for your industry, build the skills, qualifications, and employability, and support the career goals of our students. 

About You

You enjoy working in a collaborative and innovative way. You will be required to use your strong interpersonal skills when liaising with industry and community and will utilise your sound negotiation skills when problem solving and meeting deadlines. 

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Certificate III in Plumbing
  • Desirable but not essential:
    • Certificate III in Roofing
    • Certificate IV in Plumbing
  • (AQF) Level 5 or higher qualification in Vocational Education and Training (VET)/ Adult Education, OR hold a TAE40116 or TAE40122 Certificate IV (or its successor) or equivalent AND commit to obtaining the AQF Level 5 or higher qualification within 18 months of employment. 
  • Minimum of three (3) years post-qualification experience in plumbing industry, gained no longer than five (5) years previously
  • Meet all the Essential Requirements in the below position description.
