About the role

Bring your current industry experience and knowledge in Nursing and join our vibrant team of Teachers in this exciting temporary part-time opportunity based at Wetherill Park Campus until October 2025.

TAFE Teachers are professional educators who help, construct, guide and enhance the educative process. The successful candidate in this role will deliver educational programs and facilitate learning, enabling students to achieve their best outcomes.

About You

We are looking for a passionate and engaged individual who has the ability to meet the following Essential Requirements:

  • Hold a HLT54121 Diploma of Nursing (or above) or equivalent. 
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with no restrictions
  • Have a minimum of 3 (three) years relevant post-qualification experience in as a Registered Nurse, at least part of which has been gained over the last eighteen (18) months.
  • Evidence of holding the appropriate teaching qualifications to deliver Vocational Education and Training. See the candidate support document (here) for details
  • Be prepared to continue to develop their Vocational Education and Training (VET) knowledge and skills as well as their industry currency and trainer/assessor competence.
  • Knowledge and understanding of accreditation requirements of the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation Council

Highly Regarded:

  • Hold a Bachelor of Nursing.
