About the role

We currently have positions available located at various TAFE NSW Campuses within our North Region.
About You
To be successful in the role you will have:
1. Qualifications in:
• A recognised* Bachelor degree (AQF 7) in education, with a TESOL major OR
• A recognised* Bachelor degree (AQF 7) + a postgraduate qualification (AQF 8 or higher) in TESOL OR
• A recognised* Graduate Diploma or higher + a postgraduate qualification (AQF 8 or higher) in TESOL
* From an accredited Australian Higher Education Institution, or a qualification recognised as equivalent to the stated AQF level or higher by the Australian Government Country Education Profiles (CEPs) tool
2. Have a minimum of three years post-qualification experience in industry relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously. (is this required at all)
3. Evidence of holding the appropriate teaching qualifications to deliver Vocational Education and Training. See the candidate support document (here) for details
4. Be prepared to continue to develop their Vocational Education and Training (VET) knowledge and skills as well as their industry currency and trainer/assessor competence.
Highly Regarded:
- Experience in teaching English as a second language in a multi-level classroom
- Experience teaching in online environments
- Excellent communication skills and an ability to work within teams
