About the role
Are you ready to make a real impact in the lives of learners?
As an Education Support Officer, you’ll leverage your current industry knowledge and experience in the Ageing and Disability sector to support students and enhance their learning journey. Working alongside a team of passionate industry professionals, you’ll be supervised by the Head Teacher and collaborate closely with teachers to help students stay engaged, motivated, and on track to achieve their goals.
You’ll be at the heart of the student experience, putting their success at the forefront of everything you do.
Please note: In this role, you won’t be responsible for preparing lessons, delivering training, or undertaking assessments.
About you
We are looking for motivated and engaged individuals who can meet the following selection criteria:
- Minimum qualification of a Certificate III in Ageing and Disability or equivalent skills and experience.
- Demonstrated experience in the Ageing and Disability Industry (five years +)
- Demonstrated commitment to maintaining technical currency
- Ability to understand Health, Wellbeing and Community Services learning materials and assessment processes
- Commitment and ability to support and motivate students in an adult learning environment
- Skills in the use of relevant information and communication technologies (intermediate level desired)
- Ability to establish effective working relationships with diverse individuals
Desirable: TAE40116 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
