About the role - Childcare at TAFE NSW
Join us as an Early Childhood Educator (internally known as Advanced Childcare Worker - Certificate 3 or Early Childhood Officer - Diploma), where you’ll be at the heart of our Children’s Centre, creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for our little learners.
You'll work collaboratively to plan and implement engaging experiences in a play-based and educational setting that supports each child's development, curiosity, and potential.
We are currently recruiting for two Early Childhood Educators. One permanent, full-time Advanced Childcare Worker (Certificate 3) and one permanent, full-time Early Childhood Officer (Diploma) at our Albury Children’s Centre.
Our Children’s Centre operates Monday to Friday, from 8:00am to 5:30pm. We are open for 48 weeks per year, with a refreshing four-week break over Christmas.
About you
We’re seeking motivated individuals who thrive in collaborative environments, and effortlessly engage with educators, families, and children. Your ability to take initiative, work independently, and collaborate with your team ensures the smooth and successful operation of our dynamic centre.
What you will bring:
- Certificate III/Diploma/Associated Diploma recognised by Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) with a minimum 12 months experience in early childhood services.
- Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework, Early Years Learning Framework, and Child Protection - Mandatory Reporting Framework.
- A Current Working with Children Check, National Police Clearance, and ACECQA-approved First Aid certification (including CPR, asthma, anaphylaxis, and diabetes management).
- Demonstrated experience in early childhood services is highly regarded
