About the role

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Teacher of Carpentry to join our dedicated team at the Nowra Campus on a permanent, full-time basis working 35 hours per week. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high quality carpentry instruction to students, fostering both their technical skills and their understanding of industry standards. Your expertise and enthusiasm will be key in inspiring students to achieve their full potential and prepare them for successful careers in carpentry.

This recruitment is also being used to create a statewide talent pool to fill temporary and permanent roles that may become available within the next 18 months.

About You

You will have:

  1. Hold a Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent
  2. Hold the TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent
  3. Minimum of five years post-qualification experience in industry relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously.
  4. Be prepared to continue to develop their Vocational Education and Training (VET) knowledge and skills as well as their industry currency and trainer/assessor competence.
