About the role

Join TAFE NSW in this temporary full-time opportunity based in Ultimo until April 2027, supporting the Hair & Beauty Head Teacher and teaching team to deliver quality education and training. We are also seeking to create a talent pool for future temporary and permanent opportunities. 

You will provide high-quality administrative support, including maintaining accurate records, generating training plans, and liaising with employers regarding apprentices.

The role involves regular phone communication and delivering excellent customer service to students, employers and stakeholders. Working in a fast-paced environment, particularly during enrolment and semester start periods, you will prioritise tasks under direction.

About you 

You are an organised, proactive, and motivated individual looking to build your administrative career in a purpose-driven environment. You bring strong customer service skills and confidence communicating with a range of stakeholders, including employers, particularly over the phone.

With good attention to detail, you can complete high-quality administrative tasks such as maintaining records and supporting training plan preparation. You manage competing priorities during busy periods, follow direction well, and remain adaptable.

A collaborative team player, you are eager to learn and committed to delivering accurate work and a positive customer experience while supporting students, apprentices and employers.

 Additionally, you will be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience in the provision of high-quality administrative support and ability to work with a range of complex administrative and corporate systems
  • Experience in developing systems and processes to support efficient operations
  • Strong proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite and general IT skills.
