About the Role
We are seeking individuals with hands-on emergency management experience to become part of our teaching team. By delivering engaging and impactful training, you will play a key role in preparing volunteers to respond confidently to emergency situations and support community recovery and resilience.
As a TAFE NSW Teacher, you will guide and enhance the learning journey of students and volunteers alike. You will be passionate about sharing your industry expertise and have demonstrated success delivering training in an adult learning environment. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by building the skills, knowledge, and employability of learners, while supporting them to achieve their career and volunteer development goals.
About You
To be successful in the role, you will:
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116, TAE40122 or successor qualification).
- Willing to join an exciting team of emergency management teachers
- Recent and relevant industry experience in emergency management, incident management, crisis management, or disaster response, including events such as natural disasters, public health emergencies or other large-scale incidents.
Highly Desirable (but not essential):
- Possession of PUA60120 Advanced Diploma Public Safety (Emergency Management).
