$131,911 - $142,056 salary package – includes base salary ($116,219 - $125,157) plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

About the role
As the Survey Management Specialist, this role is responsible for managing key regulatory surveys that support quality, compliance and continuous improvement across TAFE NSW.
The role coordinates survey programs from planning and stakeholder engagement through to analysis, reporting and submission, ensuring TAFE NSW meets regulatory obligations and internal and external reporting requirements. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external agencies, the position drives initiatives that maximise participation rates, maintain data integrity and deliver high-quality insights to support informed decision-making.
This role requires strong analytical capability and the ability to translate complex survey findings into clear, evidence-based insights and recommendations. As a subject matter expert for survey methodology, reporting and regulatory survey requirements, the position identifies opportunities to improve processes, reporting approaches and the value of survey outcomes.
Success in this role will be demonstrated through the ability to build productive relationships across diverse stakeholder groups, navigate competing priorities, and deliver accurate, timely and meaningful insights that support organisational objectives. Working collaboratively with stakeholders, the position promotes a customer-centric approach, upholds TAFE NSW values, and contributes to a safe, inclusive and high-performing workplace culture through ongoing professional development and effective performance management.
About You
To be successful for this position you must possess:
- A degree in a relevant discipline, or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience in survey management, research, insights or analytics.
- Demonstrated experience managing large-scale surveys, ideally regulatory or compliance-based surveys, with a strong understanding of governance, data quality and reporting requirements.
- Strong research, analytical and report-writing skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, objective and actionable insights.
- Proven ability to engage and coordinate diverse stakeholders and working groups to improve response rates, achieve outcomes and manage competing priorities.
- A valid Working with Children Check (required prior to commencement).
