Temporary Part Time until 12 July 2027 (28 hours per week) with the potential for extension

$96,098 package - includes base salary ($84,666), plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading (will be paid pro-rata)

About the role

As an Education Support Officer, you will support teachers and build engagement with learners studying Automotive courses. You will have the opportunity to apply your on-the-job knowledge and industry specific qualification to create a positive learning environment. You will supplement the teaching activities by providing follow-up instruction as provided by a teacher and opportunities to practice skills to enhance students educative experience and engagement. 

About You

To succeed in this role, you will:

• Have appropriate subject knowledge, skills and hold a Certificate III of Light Vehicle Automotive or Certificate III Automotive Electrical Technology.
• Have demonstrated strong administrative skills, and experience.
• Have high-level interpersonal and communication skills, including your ability to be proactive and show initiative.
• Be able to meet all the selection criteria in the below role description.
