$111,798 – $132,585 salary package - includes base salary ($98,499 – $116,813), plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading, paid pro-rata.

About the role
As a TAFE NSW Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in preparing the next generation of School Learning Support Officers (SLSO’s). Your expertise and guidance will empower learners to develop the practical skills, knowledge, and confidence required to support teachers and students across a range of educational settings.
You will deliver Certificate III and Certificate IV in School Based Education Support through virtual and blended learning models, including delivery of evening virtual classes. Travel will be required within reason to conduct workplace assessments and support students within real-world educational environments.
About You
You are a passionate educator who can create engaging learning experiences, foster student success, and build strong relationships with schools, employers, and industry stakeholders.
To be successful in the role, you must have:
- At minimum, a Bachelor of Education (Primary/Secondary) or equivalent
- A minimum of three years post-qualification experience in the Primary or Secondary Education profession, relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously.
- Evidence of the required teaching qualification to deliver Vocational Education and Training (VET). See the candidate support document here for details.
- Be prepared to develop and maintain your VET knowledge and skills as well as your industry currency, and trainer/assessor competence.
