Location negotiable across NSW (subject to campus availability)

Temporary Full-time until 30 June 2027, plus the creation of a Talent Pool for future permanent and temporary full-time opportunities

$158,345 - $162,265 salary package - includes base salary ($139,508 - $142,962), plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the design and development of high-quality, inclusive and industry-relevant education at TAFE NSW. As an Instructional Designer, you will collaborate with Faculty, subject matter experts and stakeholders to create engaging course content that meets student and community needs, supports diverse delivery modes, and aligns with compliance and quality standards. You’ll apply best practice instructional design principles, integrate emerging technologies, and manage multiple projects to deliver impactful learning experiences.

About you 

  • Appropriate Degree or Diploma at AQF level 5-8 or equivalent, or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience
  • Demonstrated experience in instructional design, including with adult learning strategies, curriculum development and/or e-learning development
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the standards and regulatory environment governing vocational education and training
  • A valid Working with Children Check (required prior to commencement).
