About the Role

As a Pedagogical Practice Partner, you’ll work closely with Educational Leaders and Service Managers across Queensland to strengthen educational practice, embed our curriculum, and coach teams to deliver meaningful, child-led learning experiences.

This is a mobile role, so you’ll need to travel between services across Queensland. A valid driver’s licence and access to a car are essential.

You’ll play a key role in embedding these programs, supporting reflective practice, and ensuring learning environments reflect our commitment to quality and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide pedagogical leadership across a portfolio of Queensland services.

  • Coach and mentor Educational Leaders and teams to build confidence and consistency in educational delivery.

  • Support the implementation and ongoing development of Story House’s curriculum and frameworks.

  • Partner with Business Operations Managers to align educational goals with service delivery.

  • Role model our core values: respect, connectedness, integrity, safety, celebration, innovation, and commitment.

What You’ll Need

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-approved equivalent), or Diploma of Children Services with extensive experience and knowledge in the delivery of excellence practice in early childhood curriculum. 

  • Demonstrated leadership or mentoring experience in early childhood settings.

  • A strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and evidence-based practices.

  • Willingness to travel across Queensland.
