Join our Student System Support team and play a key role in enhancing student administration! You'll provide expert system support, collaborate with functional managers, and lead process improvements within the Student Information System (SIS). You will
- support organisational priorities through the modernisation of relevant applications and technologies to enable success and efficiency for the broader University;
- troubleshoot complex application issues and work with appropriate stakeholders to prepare, recommend and implement suitable fixes; and
- take a lead role in the development and implementation of process improvement.
About you
You’re a strong communicator with the ability to consult, negotiate, and provide clear training and advice to a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders. Your analytical skills enable you to identify opportunities for innovation, develop and implement business improvements, and take ownership of successful outcomes. A collaborative team player, you work effectively with others, resolve conflicts with professionalism, and contribute to a positive and high-performing team environment.
You will possess:
- Completion of a relevant degree in computing, information technology or equivalent, with a minimum 4 years relevant experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and /or education/training.
- Functional expertise in the provision and support of a Student Information System with demonstrated experience of a high level of systems knowledge of relevant modules. Experience with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions highly desirable.
- Experience in preparing specifications, undertaking user needs analysis and the ability to prepare formal documentation that provides comprehensive system detail, business process and training requirements.
- Knowledge of the higher education legislative environment relating to student admissions, enrolments, fees and charges and experience in the design and utilisation of associated queries and data integrity checks.
- Experience in undertaking and implementing thorough and comprehensive test plans ensuring system integrity.
