The Opportunity
Working in a vibrant creative team, you'll plan, capture, and edit high-quality video, photography, and social media content that aligns with our brand and connects with diverse audiences. From concept to final cut, your visual storytelling skills will help showcase the UniSC experience across multiple platforms in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
Please note, that the role is primarily based at our Sunshine Coast campus; however, there may be some flexibility to work from our Moreton Bay campus periodically.

You will
- Plan, produce and edit on-brand, high-quality videography, photography and social media assets;
- Create video and static imagery assets, from content ideation through to production to deliver campaign, product, corporate and event activity and use on multiple platforms including the University website and social media channels; and
- Balance competing projects, coordinate timelines, logistics and project communications with team members, contractors and other key stakeholders within the University.
About you
Our ideal candidate is a collaborative team player who thrives on working closely with colleagues and coordinating effectively with external suppliers across various project phases. You’ll bring sound judgement and professionalism to every interaction, handling situations with confidence and sensitivity, whether you're engaging with senior administrators, academics, or people from diverse backgrounds.
You will possess:
- Completion of a degree in media, film or creative industries combined with subsequent years of relevant experience;
- Demonstrated experience in creating high-quality and on-brand videography, photography and social media assets (including knowledge and skills in using professional camera equipment and drones) for multiple channels;
- Demonstrated experience using video editing software (including Adobe Premiere Pro) and delivering content for multiple channels;
- Proven ability in effective asset storage, including establishment of clear processes and proficiency with digital asset management systems;
- Proven experience working across a major campaign to provide supporting visual assets. Proven organisational abilities for establishing processes and planning and prioritising work; and
- Highly-developed client management skills including conducting one-on-one interviews, a track record of trouble-shooting, thinking laterally in situations where precedents may not be apparent, and taking responsibility to deliver positive outcomes for internal and external clients.
