As a casual research assistant, you’ll be working with world-class research teams as part of a supportive environment that values flexibility, inclusivity, and meaningful contribution to research excellence.

Research assistant roles may involve:

  • Conducting literature reviews
  • Preparing ethics and grant applications
  • Project management and stakeholder engagement
  •  Participant recruitment and engagement
  • Supporting data collection and analysis
  • Maintaining research databases and records
  • Assisting in preparing research outputs and reports

Key Requirements

  • Completion of an AQF+1 qualification (e.g. Honours, Masters, PhD) in a relevant field
  • Highly effective written and oral communicator
  • Capacity to work independently and as part of a team
  • (Desirable) Active engagement with industry, professional bodies, or community groups
