The Opportunity
This is a chance to lead meaningful change across UniSC. As our Senior Business Analyst, you'll bring people together to untangle complex systems and uncover opportunities for smarter, simpler ways of working. You’ll play a lead role in shaping our approach to third-party partnerships, using insight, analysis and collaboration to guide decision-making and unlock efficiencies. From mapping out future-state processes to embedding change that sticks, you’ll help translate big ideas into real-world improvements. With a strong track record in project delivery, you’ll provide trusted advice, clear communication, and practical solutions that make a lasting difference for our staff, students and community.
You will
- lead strategic business analysis with a focus on third-party partnerships, simplifying complex processes, aligning systems, and delivering practical improvements across UniSC;
- create clear, fit-for-purpose project artefacts, that support smart decisions and keep things moving; and
- provide expert support to the Global and Engagement team, responding to complex requests with clarity and insight to help drive strong outcomes and reputation.
About you

You bring clarity to complex challenges, build strong relationships across all levels, and translate business needs into practical, future-focused solutions. With a strong grasp of process, data, and stakeholder priorities, you're confident leading change, influencing outcomes, and delivering work that makes a measurable difference. You're comfortable navigating ambiguity, driven by purpose, and ready to contribute to projects that shape the way UniSC works and grows.
You will possess:
- Strong analytical skills and experience working with complex systems, ideally with insight into student and academic systems and third-party education arrangements.
- A solid background in planning, developing and implementing projects, with an understanding of what works in a university setting.
- Sharp business acumen and a practical approach to assessing impacts, managing risks and improving the way things are done.
- The ability to juggle competing priorities while building great working relationships across teams and organisations.
- Excellent communication skills, you’re able to translate ideas clearly, bring others on board, and connect meaningfully with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Familiarity with the Higher Education Standards Framework (Threshold Standards) 2021, especially in the context of delivery with other parties, will be highly regarded.
