The Opportunity
You will play a key role in shaping system and process solutions that support UniSC’s strategic goals and enhance the student experience. Working collaboratively with teams across the University, you will lead the analysis and delivery of system changes, ensuring solutions are practical, efficient and aligned with business needs.
In this role, you will identify opportunities to improve processes and drive efficiencies, analyse user and business requirements, and help prioritise and manage a dynamic portfolio of work. You will also provide leadership within the Student Systems team, mentoring colleagues and contributing to a collaborative, high-performing environment. Through clear reporting, insightful analysis and sound recommendations, you will help ensure successful project outcomes and continuous improvement across the University.

You will
- lead the business analysis of complex business processes, systems and structures, identifying business requirements and successfully implementing business improvements with a mix of business change and process improvement;
- develop project management artefacts including but not limited to business cases, functional specifications, user acceptance test plans and communication plans; and
- manage the integration requirements of key digital projects to optimise the effectiveness and efficiency of the solution across the organisation.
About you
You are a highly analytical professional with strong experience working with enterprise systems, ideally including student information and related platforms. You thrive in complex digital environments, with the ability to translate business needs into practical system and process improvements. Highly organised and collaborative, you manage multiple priorities while building strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation. Your excellent communication skills allow you to clearly convey ideas, gain buy-in, and contribute positively to team outcomes, while also providing guidance and mentoring to colleagues within a high-performing team environment.
You will possess:
- Completion of a relevant postgraduate qualifications with subsequent extensive relevant experience and proven expertise in project delivery ideally within the higher education sector; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education and training;
- Extensive experience and highly developed analytical skills, ideally with knowledge of student information systems, research management systems and other enterprise;
- Understanding of and experience in the planning, development, integration and implementation of digital systems, applications and services, preferably within higher education;
- Ability to organise and manage multiple tasks to achieve successful outcomes in a timely manner through the establishment and maintenance of collaborative relationships across and outside the organisation;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to convey information and gain acceptance of ideas and engage successfully with different stakeholder groups across an organisation
- Extensive experience in working effectively within a team environment, contribute to the resolution of conflict and participate equitably in positive and successful organisation wide teams working to achieve corporate goals and objectives. Provide direction and mentoring to other team members; and
- Extensive use and experience with Peoplesoft Student/Oracle Campus Solutions and/or related systems such as Curriculum Management, Timetabling, Customer Relationship Management, Reporting.
