The Opportunity
At UniSC, we believe real-world experience is central to future-ready graduates. Our Work Integrated Learning (WIL) team plays a critical role in connecting students with industry partners and ensuring every placement is compliant, seamless, and impactful.
As a WIL Contracts Support Officer, you will work at the heart of this ecosystem. Reporting to the WIL Contracts and Budgets Officer, you will support the administration of placement agreements, contract compliance, and financial processes that underpin thousands of student placements each year.
This is a role for someone who thrives on detail, enjoys building strong stakeholder relationships, and takes pride in keeping complex processes running smoothly. Your work will directly contribute to expanding and enhancing placement opportunities in line with UniSC’s strategic priorities.
You will
- lead the end-to-end administration of WIL contracts and placement agreements, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing;
- maintain and monitor contract records, systems, and data to support reporting, compliance, and placement delivery;
- partner with students, academics, and host organisations to provide responsive support and ensure smooth placement experiences; and
- coordinate placement-related financial processes and contribute to continuous improvement of workflows and administrative practices.
About you
You’re highly organised, detail-focused, and confident navigating administrative processes in a structured environment. You bring a customer-focused mindset and enjoy working with a wide range of stakeholders, balancing multiple priorities with ease. You’re not just process-driven, you’re also someone who looks for smarter, more efficient ways to work and contributes positively to a collaborative team environment.
You will possess:
- Experience in administrative support, ideally within a university or regulated environment;
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and responsive approach;
- Proven ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, and compliance requirements;
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping and data management;
- A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement;
- Confidence working independently and collaboratively within a team; and
- Experience supporting contracts, placements, or administrative systems (desirable).
