Job Description
Provide front of house support for the Office of Undergraduate Research (OURS). Submit travel paperwork for undergraduates attending conferences. Purchase equipment and supplies in support of undergraduate research. Assist with managing the budget. Aid the OURS staff in managing student workers and assist with food, beverage, and space logistics for on-campus events.

Required Qualifications
Experience providing administrative and/or programmatic support. Demonstrated experience managing office paperwork; maintain confidentiality of information; interact and communicate with a diverse group of people, and provide excellent customer service. Experience establishing priorities and managing details to obtain successful results with a high volume workload. Excellent organization, oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated knowledge of various computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of university and state policies/procedures in an academic environment. Working knowledge of Banner/eVa/Cognos and experience with purchasing and state travel procedures. Experience working with students. Demonstrated knowledge of financial and accounting principles. Has earned a college degree.
