Job Description
Adjunct faculty in the Department of Psychology primarily teach undergraduate psychology course(s) that support the psychology major and minor, as well as general education and other majors on campus. The availability of course assignments for Adjunct Faculty and the specific types of courses vary from semester to semester.

Required Qualifications
All faculty must have at least a Master's degree in the field/discipline in which they are teaching with 18 hours of course work related to the course(s) being taught. In some cases, subject to the approval by the Provost, a faculty member could be recommended for appointment based on substitution of significant experience for the degree.

The Department of Psychology accepts applications for teaching adjuncts on a continual basis. These positions are primarily for face-to-face teaching on the main campus. The availability of adjunct positions and types of courses needing coverage varies from semester to semester. Applicants must submit an unofficial copy of transcripts of post-secondary course work with the application. If the applicant's official transcripts are on file in the Office of the Provost, a statement indicating such, must be submitted in lieu of the documents with the application. Official transcripts of all post-secondary course work will be required upon selection for hire.
