Job Summary
The Temporary Teaching Assistant will work on identification, taxonomy, anatomy, physiology, behavior and ecology of birds, including field and laboratory work. The Teaching Assistant will work 10-40 hours a week, assisting and instructing students in lab and field, and assisting the professor with class preparation and grading.

Responsibilities
• Assist students with questions during labs or field trips. • Drive CC vehicle for field trips. • Instruct students in proper lab and field techniques, procedures, and safety. • Prepare materials, equipment, and demonstrations for use in lab and field, and help prepare lab practical exams. • Assist professor with grading. • Support students’ well-being and academic success.

Minimum Qualifications
- Must have taken the course and performed well in it (usually B+ or higher).
- Great attention to detail, very reliable, works well with students/professors, works well on own, seeks help when appropriate.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and a driving record that is insurable by Colorado College’s motor vehicle insurance carrier.
