Jewish Care Victoria is a not-for-profit organisation one of the largest providers of aged and community services for the Jewish Community in Victoria. About the role:
We have an opportunity for Domestic Cleaners committed to supporting persons with a disability to live their best life. Work in suburbs surrounding Windsor, Caulfield, Carnegie, St Kilda and more.
- Establish and maintain a supportive environment for people using a person-centered active support model
- Facilitate and support clients in all aspects of daily living
- Promote opportunities for skill development and community access
- Contribute to the plans and outcomes for clients, programs and activities
- Maintain effective interpersonal communications with clients, colleagues, and family members
- Regularly update client reports and relevant records.
What you will bring:
- Prior experience cleaning in homes of persons with disability (preferred)
- NDIS Clearance (essential)
- Working with Children Check (essential)
- Current Victorian Driver's Licence and reliable own car (preferred)
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to self-manage and monitor your work schedule
- Commitment to the delivery of timely and punctual work performance.
