Volunteer- Event Assistant

As our Event Assistant Volunteer, you'll be at the heart of Jewish Care Victoria's community engagement initiatives. From intimate fundraising dinners to large-scale awareness campaigns, you'll help orchestrate events that directly impact the lives of community members across Melbourne.

To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Reliable and detail-oriented
  • Excellent communicators with strong interpersonal skills
  • Available for flexible scheduling, including some evenings and weekends
  • Passionate about community service and social justice
  • Previous event experience helpful but not essential

What we're looking for:

  • Assist with guest registration and welcome activities
  • Help manage event logistics and vendor coordination
  • Contribute to promotional activities and community outreach
  • Provide on-site support during events
  • Assist with post-event follow-up and feedback collection
  • Successful completion of Police Check, NDIS clearance and Working with Children Checks.
